INTERMITTENT FASTING UPDATE

So I thought I should give you an update on how Intermittent Fasting (IF) has gone since I started end of November last year for the run up to London Fashion Week.

This picture was taken during castings so around the 6/7th Jan. Annoyingly I don't have a 'before' photo to compare.

It took a while for my body to adapt to not having something first thing in the morning, especially when away on holiday. But now it's become a normality. I'm saving time in the morning from preparing meals and eating and can get straight into work projects, I also definitely feel more focused.

So I'll fast up until lunch with the family when on holiday or possibly later to around 3pm when on my own schedule, sticking to fizzy water, herbal tea's and coffee.

Then I'll try and get a workout in before the first meal, either bodyweight exercises or HIIT routines (anything from 15mins plus). This combo has been really good at not only helping drop body fat along with IF, but also keep my fitness level up and improve on my bodyweight strength.

While on holiday it was tough to exactly know what my calorie consumption was, but I'm pretty good at eyeballing and sticking to quality nutrition. I only tracked my calories when I came back for the week of castings to ensure I was in good shape.

In this photo I was down to 5.8% bf - which for me is tough to sustain, even with IF, however it definitely made it easier for me to get down to this quickly. Otherwise I'm sticking more around 7-10% and FULLY enjoying all foods and exercising 4-5 times a week alternating HIIT and bodyweight routines.
